What’s the best thing to do in Thunder Bay?

A Thunder Bay Harbour Sailing Tour! You will get to enjoy this international seaport from a different vantage point. The best views of Thunder Bay are from the water! We’ll bring you within feet of major sights. Our captains are knowledgeable and skilled interpretive guides and will stop the boat along the way to point out landmarks and give you the opportunity to take photos.

On this unforgettable Harbour Tour. You will get out on the water, sail up close to the lakers and salties, look up at the massive grain elevators dominating the city shoreline, get incredible views of the Sleeping Giant and pass by the historic Thunder Bay Main lighthouse. Finish off by cruising around the manmade break wall, and back to Pier 3.

Experience the beauty of the Thunder Bay harbour and waterfront on board an expertly captained sailing vessel. You will feel a rush as the wind fills the sails and propels us silently and gracefully forward through the water. The boat will gently lean and pick up speed. You can sit and relax on the deck, watch the scenery pass by and feel the waves roll under you.

Safety is paramount to everything we do. With over 15 years experience in the industry, we know what we’re doing, and we have thorough procedures in place to ensure your well-being.

Our boats are outfitted with safety equipment meeting or exceeding Transport Canada and Industry Standards and our captains and crew are expertly trained.

If you are participating in a Big Lake Adventure tell your crew if you have high or low blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy, broken or fractured bones/dislocations, fragile skin, neurological disorders, diabetes, asthma, prosthetics, panic/anxiety attacks or any recent sprains/muscular injuries.

To maintain our high standards of safety, we ask that there be a one-to-one child-adult ratio for children under 8 (can be supervised by a sibling 15 yrs or older). There is no charge for children 2 years and under but they do count towards our maximum passenger limit, so please inform us if you are bringing an infant so we can adjust our reservations accordingly.
